Justin David Macawili is a film director based in Naarm (Melbourne) Australia.
A graduate of Master of Film and Television (Directing) from Victorian College of the Arts, Justin has directed a range of cinematic works that explore diverse nuanced characters that struggle to navigate their feelings in an unforgiving world.
With a flair for genre, he likes to blur the lines between fantasy and reality, creating visually arresting narratives and stylised dramas that evoke visceral reactions from audiences.
His work spans a variety of genres and styles from music videos to commercials, corporate videos to documentaries, and storytelling through short and feature films above all.
